Eligibility & Admission Procedure for MBA The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. The core course in the MBA program is designed to introduce students to the various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations management etc. Students in MBA program have the option of taking general business courses throughout the program or can select an area of concentration and focus approximately one-fourth of their studies in subject.

DR. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) sets the eligibility criteria of UPSEE MBA that candidates are required to fulfill in order to appear for the exam. UPSEE MBA is a computer-based test. In order to appear for the exam, aspirants must first confirm the UPSEE MBA eligibility criteria. According to AKTU’s prescribed norms, a candidate needs to have a three year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university. The minimum required percentage for General category candidates is 50% aggregate while that for SC/ST it is 45% . It is important to note that each institute affiliated to the university will have its own defined sets of admission criteria. As per UPSEE MBA eligibility criteria, candidates who have appeared for their final semester of Bachelors and are awaiting their results are also eligible to register.
